Designing for a large territorial expanse, as was the case for the Alamillo Park expansion, means structuring its utilisation based on overlapping networks of elements that operate independently but simultaneously strengthen the idea of being incorporated into a new web itself defined by four different and mutually interlinking supports: network of pathways, network of water features, network of public spaces, network of rest and leisure zones and finally the structure accessing and connecting with the city. In addition to seeking a homogeneous image for the entire area, the purpose of the park is to structure a series of fairly clear rules in order to resolve communications between the urbanised and non urbanised spaces and endow the city with a new leisure and recreational facility.
